haha wtf I just realized Hopsin is like whispering the last two words of each line just listen close to stuff like "titanic" "life damaged" "right planet" and stuff. idk it just caught me off guard, first time listening to it with headphones

Are you trolling? As you know Chris Dolmeth stands for the drug Crystal Meth, so this has nothing to do with how Hopsin's friend is named? Hopsin used this "name" for a personification of the drug, like someone evil who changes and destroys your whole life.

If I'm not mistaken I think it was supposed to be a metaphor, with chris dolmeth supposed to be an influential friend/person (representing meth) that leads Jesse down the wrong path. But as we all should know, hopsin isn't really good with this sort of stuff (metaphors, allegories etc.).

Just listened to Chris Dolmeth for the first time in years and I'd be lying if I didn't say the storytelling was a lot better than Ill Mind 6.

I view Ill Mind 6 as a remake of the original Chris Dolmeth. I don't feel like the song is speaking from a new angle or anything.


he took one of his older, deeper and more creative songs and remade it so that new fans can enjoy it and he can get the message across again.
