The Ill Mind of Hopsin 6

Everything I'm saying is really just pure speculation at this point.


Really, I'm just scared of Hopsin becoming a different artist. Which I get most artists change, and that's great...nobody likes a stale artist. This direction he's going in...it just seems too goody for me. I don't listen to Hopsin for that. I started listening to him because I was under the impression he was aggressive and lately he hasn't been. Lately he has been denouncing that entire style. It makes me worry lol. 

Of course Ill Mind 6 isn't Knock Madness as a whole, so even if this flops for me I have that to check out later down the line.

I agree, and one thing I've been thinking is that... well I'm not saying Hopsins bad now because he hasn't even been putting out new material, but if I JUST discovered him I wouldn't be as drawn in as I was in 2011. I was excited for what he had to offer and I thought he was one of the sickest upcoming rappers with his whole image, but now his whole image seems different to me. But with what BabySmacker said every artist changes but it's looking dull imo. 

Obviously I want my thoughts to be wrong though. I'm sure even if IMOH 6 is corny and shit I'll stay a Hopsin fan for some reason anyway

And btw to all the noobs who say that we're mean on Hopsin or gonna think that I was just now... that's probably the worst I have to say about him and me, along with the rest of the people on here, really support Hop (or did at some point). He just hasn't been living up to all the shit people are expecting of him I guess.

That's inevitable, Hopsin already said he has a different approach now than before.
However I still believe Hopsin considers his OG fanbase enough to keep it raw, it just depends on the track and how he chooses to deliver. Hopsin is the same guy just exposing more of a different side.

No. I don't think that one song really represents much. All that says to me is that Hopsin is still in Marcus' body.

- Illuminati
- Whack Rappers (even tho he said he wouldn't)
- People saying he's become corny

About 17 hours from hearing the new hopsin, unless he has stupid upload issues like he seems to have.

Hopsin is one of the most hated rappers on ktt of course they are going to say its gonna be trash. Tbh i never see any real hop discussion its all pictures of corn.

As for how good the song will be, I literally have no idea what to expect. I'm not sure what it will sound like or how good it will be in general. I'm very interested in hearing this. When Ill Mind 5 was close to being released, I just knew that it would be a great song. I just had that feeling, but with this I really can't say anything until it drops.

And Hopsin is definitely changing, but I could really care a less what he talks about just as long as it's different than what he's been saying the past 2-3 years. As long as the music is good, it doesn't matter to me if he changes his aggressive style or not.
