It's the same with the voice I rap with, I don't rap in an American accent. I rap in a more high pitched, inflection based voice than what I talk with.
A lot of people say I sound American tho.
Tbh, I think - like most rappers - your voice suits certain beats.

At the end, when I'm saying "crooks cypher" yada yada, that's how I sound when I talk except I'm saying it kind of slowly.
