JAK & DAXTER HD TRILOGY CONFIRMED

With God of War getting two volumes of HD remakes, the Sly Cooper trilogy going HD, ICO & Shadow of the Colossus getting the HD remake treatment and an array of others in line to be remade, it looks as though Sony has another HD collection up its sleeve, as the German video games rating board USK has listed Jak & Daxter Trilogy Edition for European release.

With a retailer also listing the game for release next year, there's a compelling case for the re-release of Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II: Renegade and Jak 3 in glorious high definition, like other PS2 classics before it. And although this is a European rating, it'd be short-sighted not to expect a release in both PAL and NTSC territories.

However, neither Sony Computer Entertainment or Naughty Dog has offered any kind of confirmation for Jak & Daxter Trilogy Edition just yet, but should it be officially announced, expect possible 3D support and trophies. We'll keep our pointy ears to the ground for more.

ive only played the first 2. but usually when they make remakes its usually always before a new game comes out

for example...
Sly Collection just before they annouced Sly 4
PoP Collection just before they annouce the new one.
God Of War collection released before GOW 3 now the new collection before GOW 4.

After the 3rd (and well, the racing one)...they made another one. None of the voices were the same, game was so different...etc.

It won't get a sequel to the early fans.

Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter are why I love them.
