Dr. Dre Signs Jon Connor To Aftermath

Jon Connor…it is time. At yesterday’s taping of the annual BET Hip-Hop Awards, the Flint, MI rapperrevealed during his cypher freestyle, that he signed with Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records. A couple months ago, he was spotted in the stu with the good Doc. You can hear his full freestyle when the Awards air October 15th.

ive been a huge fan of jon connor's for a while so im happy to hear this. i cant wait to actually hear the cypher and i look forward to seeing what comes from him now that he is signed to aftermath. what do you guys think?

this mothafucka doesn't even have a wikipedia and he's already get signed to Aftermath??? You'd think Dre would sign someone more popular, good to know that's not in the criteria. Never actually heard him tho, besides his verse on Billion Bucks, gonna check out his shit.

Finally people might get off their butts to check out this talented rapper.
Dr.Dre is really smart for that I would do the same exact thing.

I'm still a little bit skeptical, giving aftermath's track record with artists. I'm glad for Connor though and hope it works out for him, and he keeps making great music.

that is true but even with aftermath's track record, i think jon connor is a very marketable artist like 50 cent and kendrick lamar and i think it will be a good platform for him to work from.

love jon connor so it's really cool to hear this, hopefully he starts gaining the fan base he deserves

he has mixtapes and albums over all original beats. those mixtapes over em and jay z beats are a part of his best in the world mixtape series where he takes beats from one of the artists that inspired him and raps over them and pays homage to them and their legend as an artist. he has said that the next two best in the world mixtapes might be dr dre's the chronic and kanye west's college dropout.
