Agreed, I really liked the song, but why is it not called Chris Dolmeth Pt. II? Fuck, this is going to bother me every time I see the video or listen to the song. I mean I get that it's whatever is on his mind, but this is just too similar to Chris Dolmeth. I'm going to have to rename it on my iTunes or something whenever I get the album.......All well, at least we got a new Hopsin song, I hadn't listened to him in far too long.

I didn't know Jesse died or something, but I remember Hop talking on a livestream about doing stuff as a kid then it brought up Jesse, they were really close friends and they did a lot of stuff together and then he did crystal meth, all that stuff he raps about happens and then he went to rehab I think but Hopsin said he wasn't the same anymore and stuff.

No one is putting a gun to Hopsin's head telling him what the Ill Minds should or should not be. It's just feedback.

For what it's worth, I enjoy this much more than 5. 5 seemed a bit rushed and just all over the place. 5 was more like an Ill Mind than this one is, but in terms of content...I think he really presented his argument much better this time around.

I think this is a step forward for Hopsin. Still not enough to make me crave more Hopsin, though.

New cover is dope also. Much better than the other one.

I think some people have to get over the fact it's different from the other Ill minds to truly enjoy it.
Everything evolves in a way, some people did not like ill mind 4 because they preferred him rapping live, some people did not like 5 because they prefer him spitting raw with no certain topic and now people are concerned with the structure of ill mind 6 as it is more like a complete song and not straight spitting like the rest, plus there is a change of setting (Not indoors anymore and NO CONTACTS besides one small scene). Time will tell what Ill Mind 7 will be.. if we get one.

Ill mind 6 is now one of my favorite Hopsin songs, I'd be lying my ass off if I said it was not enjoyable just to sound cool lol.

Tbh I don't know if this was what hop originally planned ill mind 6 to be. I think he had something else planned but turned around and noticed all the REAL HIPHOP people and fuckers like the jokerr and took this from his album to stay consistant with his new theme. I really like the song, just speculating because of how different it is.

Wouldn't really surprise me, he said IMOH 5 was originally gonna be like 4 where he just goes nuts over a dope beat.

and I hope now that Hopsin is able to do all these expensive videos he does a dope video like one he wouldn't have been able to do on RAW.

It literally baffles and sickens me to this day how Hopsin can continue his anti-drug stance and platform and at the same time have Jarren Benton and Dizzy Wright as artists on his label. I said it last year, I'll say it again. BE about what you PREACH about homie. - The Jokerr
