I guess that throughout 3 years everybody's expectations grew to such an absurd extent (or extinct ;)) that no artist would be able to lift that and fully satisfy most of the fans. The other thing is THE LONGER U MAKE AN ALBUM THE WORSE IT IS. Awesome albums are created in weeks (Nirvana's Nevermind was done in two weeks), when you know what you want to do you dont need much time.

It took 3 years for Hop coz he already started feeeling burnt out of inspiration. Fiends are knocking, Hop is back sound like taken out from RAW, others have different flava which is natural when you do sth for such a long time and your style changes along the way.

Personally i don't have any expectations regarding this album but most probably, yes it's going to flop more or less miserably.
