Besides Hip hop and rap who has the best lyrics?

Personally (I will get slaughted after this) I like Bruno Mars. He's so chill and aint never singing about something stupid shit. Always about how to win a women or just relax. Im a fan of him yes. Grenade, Just the way you are, The Lazy Song, Nothing on you etc. I like them all. I agree that it aint some deep shit but it's simple, lovely and it makes me smile so I like hearing it and the lyrics makes sense to me. I do nearly only listen to Hip Hop so I really dont know that many other musicians from other genres other than the VEVO bitches.

Remember its not the best artist but the best lyrics.

I have a high respect for Adele.

I'd agree with SmackBabies' list. IMO most of the lyrics in hip hop are rather childish and straightforward when compared to those from a good vocalist of a band.
