But stans kinda ruin artists for me, like with J Cole. Everyone was saying how he was one of the best, lyrically incredible and was gonna drop some insane dope album.
Cole didn't live up to that hype his stans/fans built up for him.
It kinda made me dislike him a little for not being what I expected.
All that shit people were saying and I got an album full of wack juice punchlines & songs like Workout, Can't Get Enough, Nice Watch, In The Morning, etc.

- Stans build so much hype for their artists causing unrealistic expectations, when those expectations aren't met, I somewhat dislike that artist.

I don't think Tech's overrated at all... dude has the best flow ever imo. I do think that his albums have a lot of filler tracks though

He's my favourite Hip Hop artist of all time, but he isn't in my current Top 5. He isn't what he once was. It's as if he's done everything.

He's not overrated. He's one of the best, and he's doing it longer than any new outcomer. If anything, he's at LEAST in a top 10 of the greatest.

I don't know about overrated, I think Tech is right where he should be. Maybe he gets overrated by his d-riding fans but what artist doesn't have those? They ruin an artist for certain people, Tech though gets my respect on so many levels, he has been in the game a long time and still continues to do his thing, he is a monster when it comes to touring, he has to be one of the most respected artists in hip hop ever.

imo Tech N9ne isn't overrated at all

He also doesn't have as much haters as the average rapper which is impressive.
Most people that don't like his stuff usually don't bother leaving negative feedback..

Thats probably why hes seen as overrated apart from the few tech stans..

Tech does have his faults, everyone does, nobodys perfect.

Tech has WAYYYY more skill then Hop has.

Hops new, he only has 1 flow, his vocabulary is pretty shit.

Techs been longer in the game , he has more flows then any other rapper that has touched the mic, his lyrics , flows, rhymes is better then Hop.

Tech may release heaps of music, but it always come with quality.

and yea Hopsin doesint have a big vocab but it's impressive how he can do so much with so little..

He really does not. Tech has a great flow, don't get me wrong. For the most part, though, all he does is change up the speed of his fast flow.


There are plenty of rappers with way more flows. Better ones, too.

He will change his voice to make a new flow, he has a slow flow, he has a fast flow and so on.

Go listen to his whole discography, then come back, and ill assure you he has over 10+ flows easily.
