Let's forget about which album is better for a second.
Macklemore deserved it but Kendrick kind of deserved it more.

I think it's clear why Macklemore won though, his music reached certain people which would nail him a win at the grammies.. for some people they might not even see Macklemore as a rapper and they probably don't all enjoy hiphop very much.. nuff said.
