Talked to Hopsin for 3 hours or so earlier. Got some answers. Lecrae Collab

1. Knock Madness will not be this extremely positive preachy album. He said that would be corny and it's not him. You will know it's him and it will have the same cutting edge style to it. There will be songs like "Nocturnal Rainbows", "Pillow Man", "Where Will I Go," etc. There will be real songs on the album.

2. Hop Madness will NOT be on KM. "No way man"

3. The Knock Madness cover is the picture for the album cover, but it's not the final version. He needs to work on the colors and stuff more. He was pissed about it leaking.

4. He contemplates whether or not he's going to ditch the contacts one day.

5. He browses the forums every few months or so. He said he likes to stay away from them.

6. When he made RAW, he thought "Nocturnal Rainbows" was the song that everyone was going to hate off the album. When he saw the opposite, he took it as a sign and it convinced him to make more songs that are real and have a similar vibe.

7. No date / timeframe on the next single / album. The touring is getting in the way of all that.

8. He will be collabing with Lecrae (probably on a song or something) (sorry, forgot to add this and remembered it days later lol)

Um... yeah. there was other stuff but I can't remember all of it. He also played some of the uptempo beats for Knock Madness. They were bumping.

FV is only holding their artists back by touring so much. Dame and the rest of FV don't realize what touring does to their artists and their plans. They need to chill the fuck out and stop touring so goddamn much. This "FV Tour" should have never been planned so early. Hopsin still hasn't put out in album in almost two years, SwizZz has yet to even hint at releasing a single for his album, and Jarren hasn't even released an album on the label yet. That's poor management in my eyes. I realize that touring is how Dame and the rest of FV makes their money, but the best thing to do would be to wait a little while to start touring. It pisses me off to see that Hopsin can't take a fucking break and just work on his music. Sorry for the rant, but it had to be said.

Word. Couldn't have said it better. And I thought it would be much better to go on tour with a new album to promote. The US-tour is from september to early november. Does he also have other tours this year?

Yeah Hopsin definitely needs time, hes no tech n9ne.. now that guy puts in work regardless of anything lol.

Yeah, he just admitted that it was a fault to speak about KM in imoh 4 when he even had no single song recorded for it. But he always makes announces like when he said to drop it in "knocktember". Think this isn't so professionell. We might wait another year to hear it and then songs like imoh 5 are old as fuck.

After this tour what they should do is take turns missing shows for some time so each artist can put in work. This will be good for funkvolume, if they perform some shows without hopsin each artist can build up their own personal fanbase more and not have fans go just because hopsin will be there.

I conquer about the dam tours as well. Although it's smart marketing.
At this point, I don't mind if KM gets delayed, just want Hop to give it his best and release it at his own leisure. Been waiting long enough anyways.

Yup...Hopefully they take a break after this tour ends and all get to work...Its really only a few months...They'll probably make a ton of money for production and what not.

They will make a ton of money, but production-wise it doesn't benefit Hopsin because he produces his own music. The tour will be two months long, but that time should be used for finishing Knock Madness along with all of the other FV projects that should have been out by now.

If hopsin had the ability to make quality music in the pace tech n9ne does I think his buzz would actually be bigger.

Hopsin has a bigger buzz than tech regardless of how tech is more well known.

Damn i knew that was the cover of knock madness it was the same in his "Hopsin in the basement" video. IMO i think the color scheme looks fucking dope as hell. I wish Hopsin would release music as fast as Tech that would be awesome hope he finishes Knock Madness soon though! I want some new Hop shit!!
