His music is only good when in a group climate - he can spit a hot 16 but can't hold up a full song - but this is only judging from what I've heard.
A lot of his solo shit is wack.
joey buttons #1 tbh
I just don't feel his solo music.
I like his stuff with Slaughterhouse, no doubt he can rip a 16.
In fairness I've only listened to around 6 or 7 of his solo songs and none really hit me, recommend some then?
@Grandmaster, I actually think his voice is fucking awesome.

Rakim has a sub par flow - but good lyricism - and Eric B's beats aren't anything impressive.
If Rakim had emerged in the 90's and had that hardcore vibe I think I'd like his music more, tbh.

Yeah,
Big Daddy Kane, KRS One & Kool G Rap are all better.
I've got respect for him because of what he did for the genre but I don't enjoy his music as much.

Flow is one of his strengths that make him stand out, it's definitely not sub par.

I disagree, his lyricism is much more excellent.

Relapse>Recovery. I don't like T.I. that much (there is some exceptions on a few songs). Young Jeezy ain't special. Kanye has no classics, but has pretty decent albums. I like Ice Cube's new stuff as much as his old stuff. Hop Madness is not wack to me. All of Game's albums are great, except maybe LAX. I like Stillmatic over Illmatic. 2Pac>Biggie. ASAP Rocky is complete trash, maybe has one good song. 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Trin' and The Massacre are classics. I don't mind listening to listening to mainstream music at a party. Pusha T is still pretty lyrical. I think there should be a G-Unit reunion (Inlcuding Game, Idc for Young Buck as much, which probably wont happen). D12>Slaughterhouse. Detox will come out, but he is delaying it so he can make some money off Beats. Lupe Fiasco can't make a good album, but can make GREAT songs on albums (and lyrical). Immortal Technique is a little repetitive but every album of his has such lyricism some people probably can't even handle.

Hop madness wasn't THAT bad.
It wasn't good for a lead single to Knock Madness but it wasn't like people make it sound like on here.

I agree with chokey on this one. There are a lot of beginner rappers who have very good lyricism but there flow is so bad, that I hate the song in general.
