I realize I will probably get some heat for this but really (not sure if this has already been said in this thread or not).
I think he is great, but not the greatest of all time. He may be up there, but not on the level that I hear regularly from a lot of people. And that right there makes him overrated in my mind.

Kanye's new material doesn't compare to his first 2 albums.

Locksmith is currently the best lyricist making music.

I wish Encore never happened. Straight From The Lab was much better.

G-Mo Skee is a lot better than Jarren Benton. Nothing wrong with Jarren though.

Eminem is and always has been FAR greater than Tech when it comes to lyrical ability and emotion.

Tech has Eminem beat in pretty much every other category; beat selection, range of topics, flow, originality, etc.

Cleanin Out My Closet, Hailie's Song, You're Never Over, Stan (Espiacially), Kim. Shows an array of so many emotions. But, again I shall no longer rebute any posts about Eminem.

Tech usually just raps aggressive (not necessarily angry) or raps really monotone (no solid emotion attached).

And i was just speaking on rapping with emotion, not being deep. I think Tech would take that one, mostly because he has A LOT of songs about his struggle and things he had to deal with. Once Eminem got famous he rapped about being too famous, and that's damn near it.
