Tyler The Creator Response!!!

ok this is my first post, i have been prowling the forums for a few months now and finally decided to join because mainly of this thread.

i am a huge hopsin AND tyler the creator/ofwgkta fan. i am also a member on odd future talk. anyways this thread has turned into a tyler bashing thread for no good reason. it is mainley just because him and hopsin have beef. i know tyler isnt everybodys cup of tea but he isnt as bad as yall are making him out to be. dont get me wrong hopsin is WAY better producer and MC. but tyler is fucking dope also if you take time to listen to more than 3 songs.

anyways i think hopsin would easily kill tyler in a rap battle, that diss on IMOH 4 was fuckin funny as hell. i think tyler did throw a shot at him on whole city behind us (which imo was tylers WORST verse in his carrer) he has had writers block for a few months now and that was his first verse in such time, so i give him a pass.

i hope they can release a few diss tracks against each other but down the road i hope they make a few songs together, that would be too dope.

I heard Bastard before I heard anything by Hop. I liked maybe a few songs. Tyler is pretty wack. I didn't really like him way before I heard Hop. I really don't care that Hop doesn't like his music. His opinion influences me none.

I've said this before, he got his style from rappers like Brotha Lynch Hung and then claims that genre is shitty. That's so stupid.

that is a good point, i think they both deserve to be in the limelight, they both are dope producers and rappers. and put ALOT of work into their music. i believe that hopsin will get the recongnition he DESERVES soon enough.

It's not about taste, its what he does...There is actual skill involved when it comes to rapping/producing. Once you get factual it isn't about opinions...Tyler said it himself, he said "I'm not a good rapper"...I think I've heard him say that a few times.

Dudes definitely talented tho, he's creating a lot more new fans...It's kinda creepy tho how he has this cult like following now...That alone can make someone hate him...but he's definitely talented.

I didn't like Tyler the fist time I heard him. Well before Hopsin dissed him. I heard Yonkers, didn't hate it, didn't like it. It's an average song that people claim is genius..............No, Albert Einstein was a genius, smh. I heard Goblin (also well before the diss.) I have nothing good to say about that album so I'm not even gonna get into all that. Then I heard Tyler in interviews, what a fuckin' douchebag. Just my opinions based on eyesight and hearing.

A lot of people dont really get what Yonkers is really about tho...its very well written...No one has ever rapped like that before...Every line contradicts the other.

He may be smart, still no genius. It's not very hard to manipulate the human mind and bring forth a cult following. People want to belong, too have answers, simple things which he must bring to them. People with out of this world brain power is what I consider genius. Diddy's a multi millionaire. Genius? No! Deceitful? Yes! He tells the artists what they want to hear then pulls the rug out from underneath their feet. I'd label them as street smart. That's as far as I will go to their intelligence lol. That's just my point of view, we may have to agree to disagree on that. As far as Yonkers goes. I'm much more impressed with Worst Enemy by Tech than Tyler rapping about paradoxes the whole song. That's not something I noticed, although, still don't think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Perhaps the best thing since tissue paper. I've just seen more complex deep songs than that of Tyler. I may just be burnt out on the alter ego or split personality gimmicks.
