Album cover Interpretation
Thu 18 Jul 2013 - 10:58
So.....Who is getting buryed and who is doing the burying?
I see an eminem like exchange with the contacts being Eminems blonde hair....
Like contact Hopsin Is his version of slim shady, And it looks to me like Marcus is burying/Putting an end to Hopsin meaning he is moving to the positive rap or just quitting all together
What yall think about it?

Eminem is not the only person with an alter ego.
I like Hopsins new logo better by the way.

I agree that it symbolizes like, a last hurrah for Hopsin before Marcus buries him. Goodbye, old friend :'C

Nope, Hopsin will stay Hopsin and everyone on these forums needs to stop going on about Hopsin losing his contacts, going soft and what not.. it's bullshit and annoying. He's Hopsin, he wears contacts and he releases songs with more than one type of subject matter..

This.
It's much better than the previous one. The cover is dope too. Not feeling the Knock Madness logo though.

Maybe its "them" trying to shut up him up (ducktape on his mouth) and kill him, and he talks about it in a song like 97 Bonnie and Clyde and the Slim Shady lp cover.

The main guess you guys have now of Marcus killing off Hopsin would be interesting, but wouldn't he have to quit or change his rap name if he did that? haha
I really do like the cover, the Knock Madness logo isn't bad and I like it but it could be better.
The new Hopsin logo is pretty cool but not THAT different so I still like it
EDIT:
or maybe Hopsin will always be a part of Marcus and Pillowman is the main contacts alter ego... but then again when Hopsin raps as Pillowman he's more himself

the ONLY thing i dislike about the cover is that his name is sitting on top of the advisory logo.

I say Knock madness should be in the top left and the Hopsin Symbol should be on the bottom right......But i actually like it the way it is also

I knew this wasn't the cover. I laughed my ass off when Hopsin said that this was the "Knock Madness"-cover.

Hopsin is not a "Industry trying to shut me up" rapper anymore.....You guys are gonna go into knock madness expecting one thing and its gonna be a whole nother story.....
The Ill mind 4 Hopsin is gone.....He is a different rapper now he even said it......He doesnt even sound the same anymore so i stick to it......I think the cover is him burying the old Hopsin

I wouldn't doubt this but... why would Hopsin change so quickly and throw away his character traits that got him famous?Ken_Low wrote:Hopsin is not a "Industry trying to shut me up" rapper anymore.....You guys are gonna go into knock madness expecting one thing and its gonna be a whole nother story.....

Just me coming to my own conclusions based on what I am seeing...
Shortly after IMoH4 Hopsin started changing. I think that's about the time he started firmly believing in God. There isn't anything wrong with that. Hell, I don't even care if he raps about it....I just don't want it to be the bulk of his material. Which it thankfully isn't (yet). But I think it really started to make him feel bad for all the negative shit he thinks he was promoting.
He KNOWS he has thousands of kids/teenagers listening to him now, there were not nearly this many a few years ago. That's not a bad thing really, but Marcus is going to be Marcus. His conscious will not allow him to continue the negative aggressive persona he used to have. Even if he drops a few raw gritty tracks here & there it will never be the bulk of his material again. Pretty much he wants to save the kids, I think.
i hope i'm wrong

I think you are getting the right idea, I still feel positive he has some raw stuff but hes showcasing more of the side we've been seeing lately the most.BabySmacker wrote:AlwaysRaw wrote:I wouldn't doubt this but... why would Hopsin change so quickly and throw away his character traits that got him famous?Ken_Low wrote:Hopsin is not a "Industry trying to shut me up" rapper anymore.....You guys are gonna go into knock madness expecting one thing and its gonna be a whole nother story.....

I think it's 40/60 with him, Mind you i'm basing this only off of 2 Ill mind tracks and a few collabs so i'm not too confident, that is what I believe though.
Personally I Like both of his sides I just don't want to see Hopsin be one dimensional..

I agree with this. The reason why the change seems so sudden is because he didn't release anything during that time. Think about it. He went from Hop Madness to Ill Mind 6. It seems so quick to US because there was nothing in between, but to him it was a big enough space for him to really change as a person.
