Well I mean yea, but it could've been SO much better. Less accents and stuff... some shit on there is flat out whack and you can't deny it.Buddie wrote:AlwaysRaw wrote:Well I mean it's good, but his other stuff is better...but yea, it's sure better than RecoveryHopNation wrote:AlwaysRaw wrote:I think Eminem because even in Encore and Relapse (pretty shitty, especially in comparison to his other work) even when they're not that good albums he still entertains and has some good stuff at his darkest momentsHopNation wrote:Eminem, Nas, Pharoahe Monch, Tech N9ne, Lupe Fiasco.
Maybe you need to listen to Relapse again. Relapse is a great album. Lol
Relapse is so underrated, I love it.

In Relapse he has such a fucking great flow, especially since he did it right after he came out of rehab, and he was a fucking boss on sleep medication. A lot of those beats are so fucking dope, and his lyrics are great too.AlwaysRaw wrote:Well I mean yea, but it could've been SO much better. His lyricism, flow, and word play were insane on the entire album. This album seriously had some great songs on it (Deja Vu, Beautiful, Stay Wide Awake, Be Careful What You Wish For, My Darling, etc.). But you're right, it had some very shitty songs on it as well (Insane, We Made You, Medicine Ball, Crack A Bottle, Must Be The Ganja, etc.)
His accent didn't bother me at all and I actually liked/like it. It was something different and original that I haven't heard before. And I'd take that accent over his screaming/yelling voice on Recovery any day. Everything on Recovery sounded forced and the corny punchlines were just terrible.
