T.I Lookin For new Record Deal,

T.I. has reportedly completed his 10-year contract with Atlantic Records.

According to TMZ, Tip is currently in the process with record labels to sign the deal. As part of the package, He promises three albums; 10-20 percent of publishing, touring, merchandise, film and TV rights; corporate endorsement deals; and exclusive signing of all Grand Hustle artists.


The rapper has already met with Dr. Dre and Jay-Z, who respectively want to sign him to Interscope and Roc Nation. Sony has reportedly offered him a $50 million deal, while Universal is meeting with him later this week to discuss having him come to the imprint.

Out of those he should go with roc nation.

I Feel like he needs a deal that will sort of guide his music in the right direction, I know he can rap but it's like hes been in a position to release generic trash.

For Example if he were in shady records, I can pretty much guarantee his material would be slightly different due to the vibe around him and whatnot.

I hope he makes a wise choice tbh.

Roc Nation would be the best place for him to go, but I wouldn't mind seeing him sign to Interscope/ShadyRecords.

TI used to be decent but all his new shit is terrible

Anyone who signs to Shady Records is going to get fucked over. Shady Records (minus Eminem) hasn't put out a GOOD album since early-mid 2000's.

it's not the record labels fault if an album is good or not unless the artist have no creative control whatsoever, shady records does have creative control.
Promotion and business is another story though.

I disagree. I remember Yelwolf in an interview saying that most of the stuff on Radioactive was because of the label wanting him to make those records, not himself.

yea interscope which is conjoined with shady records, if he had no creative control he would sign straight to interscope and not shady records.
