Why are Hopsin shows so tiny?

If you compare Hopsin's shows to another rappers shows with less views, likes and overall buzz, his venues are fucking tiny. The crowd always seems really small from what I've seen. Just check out Macklemore's crowd for example:

He had a show for 600 in Denmark - compared to tech n9ne who suprisingly only had 200-300.

The show in Denmark only had 300 people too. That is most that can be in the big stage Hopsin was doing his show.

I always wondered this too, it's most likely just the venues that he and funk volume get are usually smaller so most of the time more people would go but they are already sold out or full.If they got some larger venues for their next tour they could most likely pack those as well. But yeah Macklemore has a very large fanbase, especially since "The Heist" and "Thrift Shop"(last time I checked had 19 million views goddam) so yeah actually pretty close to Hops level if not more.

I was talking to this guy who worked at the venue in Copenhagen. And he said that all the 300 tickets sold in under an hour. He also thought they could easily have sold 4000 tickets and it would still be sold out.

True, they will shit loads of money with that. They didn't make much in France though. I was talking to Hop and he said there were only like 30 people and they couldn't even speak English lol.

Yea really stupid, they would work on their fanbase there he said. Might be hard though, since French people are annoying and don't want to speak English even if they can lol.

its not up to FV, its up to the promoters, not every venue is available.
I also met some of the most retarded fans at the fv show.

There were like 500 persons in London I think. The venue was sold out and apparently you can put 600 people in it so. I don't really know.

Hm okay, now I am not Danish myself, but my gf was looking on that site of the jazzhouse before the show and that said there could only be 300 people there. Also I was talking to this guy who worked there and he said the same.Chokey wrote:there was nearly 600 in Denmark. The guy who made Hopsin come and also makes a lot of other singers come to Denmark wrote on facebook that "nearly 600 persons was at jazzhouse". I checked it on jazzhouse website after your comment and there can be 500 but I guess there was more than that.Joelletjuh wrote:Hm okay, now I am not Danish myself, but my gf was looking on that site of the jazzhouse before the show and that said there could only be 300 people there. I disagree.
I've seen 150+ different acts live, from metal, hop hop, rock n roll, most genres. When i went to see Hopsin, it was in Birmigham O2 Academy Room 2, and i've been to gigs in that exact room before. I went to a gig called NeverSayDie 2009 in that room, with some of the most well known, famous metal bands on it like Despised Icon, Architects, Emmure, and that show was only 3/4 full, compared to Hopsin where the room was PACKED from wall to wall.
Maybe it's just a metal gig =/= hip hop gig thing, but i was shocked at how many people turned up to Hopsin.
