I think it's overrated too but it's still a destroyer. It's not the best Hop song but it's better than Where Will I Go IMO.whufcwesthamunited wrote:STRANGEgenius wrote:AlwaysRaw wrote:STRANGEgenius wrote:AlwaysRaw wrote:I don't like this song because I smoke a lot of weed and don't do anything.
jkjk i don't smoke.
I think this was a good song. Good enough to be an IMOH. Idk which I like more, IMOH 4 or 5. This makes 4 seem a little childish but they're both amazing.
One part of the song he's like "Why do all black people act like neadrathals" I was like "aww shit!!....wait....he's black...nvm"
well my top 3 of Hopsin songs are...
1. Where Will i Go
2. Ill Mind 5
3. Ill Mind 4
Yea Where Will I Go is a really good one. No one talks about it or gives credit to it.
because Nocturnial Rainbows is overrated.
We've been through this before. Nocturnal Rainbows is a beast of a song and it completely destroys Where Will I Go.

He didn't really diss anyone. He had a Lil Wayne poster on the wall along with a Wiz Khalifa poster and a Nicki Minaj poster so basically just saying all the teens listen to those shitty music artists.

This song has more likes than 'Kill Her' which has about 3 million views. So in theory, if the view count bar actually worked on youtube, this would have roughly 3 million views already (in only about 6 hours). I've listened to the song about 15 times now so I have certainly helped :)

He spit the lyrics perfectly clear... a "lyrics video" isn't necessary. Also, some of your lyrics are wrong.
hahaha he never says "jacking the bone"... he says "packing the bowl". There are other mistakes too, but I don't have time to go thru it all.

TBH this is the same thing I 1st thought when I heard the song... I don't understand how he can promote Dizzy Wright & Jarren Benton if he honestly believes in the shit he raps about.
But w/e, fuck the politics for right now. The song was dope as hell.
I'm not a big fan of Dizzy, but he does have a positive message and he's nothing like the people Hop was attacking. Jarren on the other hand...

You're right. Dizzy does always have a positive message... and he's not really the type of lazy pothead Hopsin is calling out in the vid anyway.
But Yeah, Jarren... that had to be all Dames decision. I don't see Hopsin reaching out to that guy.

Yeah Jarren's a fucking twat. I really hope that the other guys in FV evolve and progress as hop does, because as things are now he is literally eons ahead of them. They might fuck him over with their average-ness in the future.BabySmacker wrote:41OMaXiMuS wrote:"What do I think of Ill mind of Hopsin 5? It has a great message. Exactly. Faith restored, but Hopsin better not become a rapper / guidance counselor on every single song.

Agreed. I won't mind a song or two like this but you need those pure 5 minutes of rawness like Ill Mind 4 every once in a while on an album.
I'm sure he'll mix it up. Hop doesn't disappoint unless it's about release dates lol.

Yeah I was worried after Hop Madness dropped...This track was dope AF!
I know a lot of people won't like the fact that he's preaching tho...But that's what he likes to do. In all of his latest interviews he talks about how he's making music to try to help peoples lives. He has a big concern for brainwashed rap fans and hates followers. I like how last year he took shots, then this year just slammed the whole mentality shared by rappers with a corrupt message. He's right about rappers just being in the game for money, shit even Tupac said he would rap until they stop paying him. Not to say Tupac wouldn't have kept his message, but Hopsin is the kind of person who'd rap forever with or without money. Fuckin sick track.

Yea, like how every upcoming rapper is like "I'm gonna change the game man" they never do anything except their own little punchlines. This shit is how Hopsin is changing the game.

I agree, but I also think it applies to SwizZz too. But this song is a great song with a great message nonetheless and it needs to be appreciated as so.

I think he should be put in the category of "You literally do nothing AT ALL" haha
But after listening to this song again, it's an excellent song and will pass up "Hop Madness" in views in a matter of days

Haha, yeah SwizZz definitely belongs in that category.
Hop Madness should have never happened at this point, he's better than that. That song is just garbage compared to the rest of his discography. You can tell he probably wrote the song in like a day.
Damn son I just came up with a great idea. If Hopsin, SwizZz, Dizzy Wright, & Jarren Benton all did a song together called "contradictions" or something like that.... could be sick as fuck.
