Benefit dropped a 9 song album with a $10 PC mic in 2000.. got some recognition through napster.. and then disappeared off the face of the earth

i found him on napster cuz he fake tagged an eminem feature with a verse from "just don't give a fuck" on proceed with precaution... anyways he's dope

I forgot that guy ever existed to be honest.

Theres been rumors that Shady records screwed him over and in the past and didn't sign him like they said, so he just quit rapping and went off to college and now sells beats for a living.

I've heard he died, heard he moved away from the U.S... bunch of rumors.

It makes no sense why he would just quit rapping even if a record label screwed him over... he's gotta realize there is a fan base waiting for him and he can easily make it on an independent basis.

That alone makes me think he really is dead.
