It sounds like it's Tech/Strange Music's fault to me.

They pressure their artists into constant releases, maybe when they aren't ready for another album, which leads to a lackluster product. Not every artist on your label can churn them out like you do, Tech. Even Tech can't anymore, he hasn't had a solid album release since Killer.

If he wanted his artists to do well, give them breathing room. Ask them when they want to drop an album. It seems that Strange are dropping so many in a yearly calendar. Of course the fans are going to buy yours, but not theirs. Theirs don't get nearly as much attention as a Tech release. Give them some extended individual stage time to help promote, instead of having them dance at either side of you, looking like a couple of bookends.

As much as I love Tech N9ne, I was happy as funk when Hopsin didn't sign with Strange. They'd have had him releasing rushed albums on a yearly basis, featuring on every other Strange artists tracks going, and given him barely any solo stage time on tours.
