I was told this is a prequel to ALIEN despite all the bs the press was saying. This is supposed to lead up to the events of the 1st movie where the other group of people found the alien ship.

I just did about 15 minutes of research and Prmoetheus is most definitely a prequel / reboot of the Alien franchise. Fox is just being super gay and trying to keep it secretive.

yeah i think its a prequel aswell cause i remember in Alien they were like "the 1st group never made it out of here"

but the thing is they HAVE better technology then the people in the Alien movie, which doesn't make sense.

I know this movie is going to be really good. A lot of good movies coming out in 2012.

Looks like it's going to be great, Ridley Scott being the directer confirms that it WILL.
