Transformers 4 & Michael Bay
Wed 7 Dec 2011 - 17:27
Michael Bay is reportedly in "final negotiations" to direct Transformers 4.
According to Vulture, the deal is not sealed yet but their sources say it "is not far from closing."
The plan is for Bay to first shoot his longtime pet project Pain and Gain this spring while prepping Transformers 4 for a winter 2012 start.
Vulture claims the fourth installment "is definitely not a prequel, and that it will delve deeper into Transformers canon to mine older characters and lore."
An official announcement on Bay's deal is expected soon.

TBH I was just regurgitating something I read on IGN, that wasn't an original thought of mine lol... but I do agree with it. I'd kinda rather see an hour and a half of big robots blowing shit up then watch a bunch of dumbshits running around that aren't relevant at all.
Shia served absolutely NO PURPOSE in transformers 3.
That guy he took out at the end would have been crushed by a transformer 5 seconds later anyway... he literally did not need to be in the movie at all.

Maybe in the future they can make a reboot that doesn't take place on earth that would be cool.
I like the idea of them interacting with human territory though, I would enjoy both versions honeslty.

I don't mind humans being in it.... but the tone of the transformers movies has been just plain goofy and I don't like that. The humor isn't even smart. And Shia is a one-personality actor. Same character in every movie. Can't stand that.
