Sonys Super Smash Bros.

A new fighting game, designed as a kind of PS3 answer to Nintendo’s Smash Bros., is in development at SuperBot Entertainment, according to a report from the Paul Gale Network. Its codename is Title Fight.

The report states that the game will feature a whole load of characters from the PlayStation universe, including Sly Cooper, Nathan Drake, Colonel Mael Radec and Fat Princess. Just like Smash Bros. the game looks set to pit these characters against each other in big arena fights.

In the report there’s an image of Twisted Metal's Sweet Tooth, who will apparently be able to transform into an Ice Cream Truck Mech. As you do. There’s also an image of a female character, though it’s hard to make out who she actually is. Click through the link, any guesses?

As far as locations go, the report suggests that Jack and Daxter’s Sandover Village will feature, as well as stages themed around Hot Shots Golf and LittleBigPlanet. Intriguing, eh?

Unfortunately Twisted Metal is a Sony product and will never be released for 360, which really sucks because the game is focusing on online functionality this time (which XBOX360 has on lock-down)

It's pretty much the only PS3 game that I would really want to see on the 360. All the other PS3 exclusives are over-rated, and I mean all of them. Even Uncharted 3 was a let down for me.

Twisted Metal 1 + 2 might just be my best memories of gaming.
