Teenager admits to killing gay classmate

A US teenager who shot dead a gay classmate he believed was flirting with him has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Brandon McInerney smuggled a handgun into his school near Los
Angeles in February 2008 and shot Larry King, 15, twice as he sat at a
computer.

Under a plea deal, the 17-year-old admitted the murder charge, voluntary manslaughter and use of a firearm.

He could face a jail term of 21 years when he is sentenced on 19 December.

McInerney would be nearly 39 years old when released.

The plea deal avoids the need for a retrial after the first
one ended in September with jurors unable to reach a unanimous decision.

McInerney was 14 when he shot his victim from behind in front
of other students in a computer class in the city of Oxnard, southern
California.

His lawyer had not denied that his client pulled the trigger,
but said the teenager had reached an emotional breaking point over
unwanted sexual advances by the victim.

During the first trial, prosecutors said McInerney had been inspired by white supremacist beliefs.

The victim's father, Greg King, said on Monday afternoon:
"Larry had a complicated life, but he did not deserve to be murdered,"

TBH I kinda understand what this kid went through.

Back in Junior Highschool there was a gay kid that would try to fuck with me / hit on me all the time. Anytime I got aggressive with him he would run and snitch to a teacher, but when I pulled the sexual harrassment card nobody took me seriously. One day the faggot ran his index finger down the back of my neck as he walked by and I beat him to the floor with a hardcover algerbra textbook and then I kicked him in the stomach. I got suspended for that shit and he didn't even get scoulded for fucking with me.

There was definitely a point when I was so enraged I wanted to kill the kid. The difference is I didn't pre-plan a murder and follow it through.

So IMO the gay kid was probably taking it too far. I'm not saying he deserved to die at all... but you know what, you shouldn't fuck with people. You never know when someone is gonna snap on you.

I dunno if you actually read my post... but the dude ran his finger across the back of my neck after I made it very clear that I was not gay and I did not appreciate being fucked with. He decided to take it to the next level by getting physical.

Hippos can run at speeds up to 35mph which would make them an excellent form of transportation in the city. Very economical too.
