Does anyone know if he still makes music like this? I haven't even bothered listening to him since Flight School, too shitty for me.
For the record, I know he was never really anything special, but I use to like him.

I used to like his older work, still do just rarely listen to it. He went down hill tbh.
I like those tracks you posted, too.

It's really shitty that the first rapper to blow up from my city went mainstream as shit immediately.
Miss his older work.

You really can't even explain what the fuck happened, either. Now everyone is like "Taylor Gang or kill yourself"
Honestly, I'd rather kill myself. lol

lol...I know what you mean. I listened to him before a lot of people(not being a hipster douche), and he just changed right away. Didn't like it. Quit listening.

Someone should go drive a knife into his neck for what he's turned into now.
This is the definition of selling out, people!

My cousin told me Wiz was dope. I was like wtf, are you kidding me! This had to be what he was talking about because he said his mixtape music was good, not his mainstream stuff. Pittsburgh Sound > Black & Yellow

I have never checked out all of his earlier work but from what I've heard, it's much better than what he's putting out nowadays. But goddamn, this dude sold-out quick.

I still like the guy. Kush and OJ was a classic, and Rolling Papers had a couple good songs in it. I wouldn't really call it selling out, because he was young when he made that shit. It takes awhile to find your hip-hop identity.

I was never a fan of him to be honest.. but I can still see that the way his music changed is REALLY noticeable.

I still feel he sold out, I'll try to give his new work a go again but ugh..I don't know. And I agree Nike, he still has time to redeem himself with his other fans that can't stand his new stuff, but liked his earlier work.
And at the same time, I just feel he did sell-out.

People evolve. He's talking about what's happening in his life nowadays. Just think of Hopsin. Before the release of RAW or Sag My Pants, he had no money, about 3-5k fans on Facebook and had to deal with all the bullshit from Rutheless. Since RAW's release, he's collaborated with Tech N9ne, is going to be on R.A. The Rugged Man's new albm, has over 100k fans on Facebook and toured around the US and even to Australia. Not to forget, he's got some money now to do some shit. I doubt he's as mad as he was when he made RAW. I'm expect changes from artists.

Its not just the content you're rapping about but also the quality and effort you put into your tracks. I think any artist who feels good music would try to make it possible to make it big and still keep the quality in their music instead of just doing what everyone else is doing for easier money and more mass appeal.
For example I think Tech N9ne is doing a good job... regardless of who hes doing collabs with hes still doing his thing and trying hard to rise and you can notice hes slowly rising to the top.
If I see him ever go Full out mainstream AND still rap the same I would seriously see him as a hero
But these guys who have potential to make their music better go ahead and do the opposite is disappointing regardless if I'm a fan or not..

Of course. Change has potential to be good. Some of my favorite rappers/bands change after each album, and I still like them.
I really wouldn't call it a positive change with Wiz, but as you stated, he was young when he was making his earlier music. Eh, his music is just to stale for me now. All opinionated, though.
