A FORUM CURRENCY

I was talking to Frankie about this a little bit a couple weeks ago, but maybe more opinions can help move this forward...he said he would look into it.

Imagine if we had a forum of currency for just this forum.


Like you buy 500 Forum Dollars for 20 Real Dollars. The money would go to the owner of the forum of course.

Now with this money we can do all kinds of things. Bet on Sports, poker, random events...shit just gamble on anything. And we can document all bets/trades in a separate forum so that people dont cheat/steal.

We could do contests (Rap battles or somethin?) Where the winner wins the prize pool.


Theres so many things we could do with a forum currency (Forum Money)....it'd probably double the length stay of each person on this forum lol.

Anyone think this sounds good?

It sounds good, but it would be way too much to handle on a phpBB-type forum.

I have programmers that work for me, I'm sure we could figure somethin out....if not then idk...I'm no developer lol

I'm still leaning towards the idea of a "Like" button on certain posts. I'm positive this cannot be done on a phpBB forum sadly.

It depends....I'm not sure if this forum was built from some kind of template or somethin...but...if we can actually get the scripts and edit the code to the website I can make this happen. I got guys that can do this shit easily. But I just need to know what this website is capable of.

Hmm ok....That Like button sounds good tho too...I'm just trying to brainstorm more ways to make it more interactive

Yeah, I really do appreciate these new ideas also. It's making the forums grow for the most part, so keep on brainstorming.

I've looked into this and it isn't possible on this version of forums. I know a fair few people who are great with forum coding, so I'll talk to them more about it.
