Who Are You Voting For?

My Vote is going to Mitt Romney simply because in my opinion, Obama is a socialist and that scares me tbh. He has also been in office for almost 4 years and hasn't done shit. He made promises that he didn't keep and now it's time for him to be replaced. It's not that I like Romney, but he knows what he is doing and he is the better option IMO.

I thought this would be an interesting topic. Who are you voting for and why? Let the arguing begin! lol

Technically can't vote, but...neither are worthy. Especially because they both support the NDAA. Anyone who supports that bill, in my opinion, doesn't deserve to be in politics or this country.

As long as the American government is split into parties it'll just keep getting worse.

I don't follow this stuff much if I am honest (probs because I am not from America) but I would vote Obama. However as I said I don't know all the facts and details in great depth about either of them, it wouldn't really be right if I voted when some other people have done a shitload of research to choose who they will vote for

This. Not even just the NDAA the anti protest bill, continued pointless wars, and the Fed continuing to printing of money needlessly hoping it will "stimulate" the economy. I will not help elect a president that will happily see our debt go to 200% of GDP. Constitutional rights are being flushed down the drain. It's simply ridiculous, that being said this poll defiantly needs a Gary Johnson addition or at least a "other" selection.

But on a serious note I believe that it doesn't matter who becomes president because we need more than the president to get stuff fixed, but it's all corrupted so there's no use. Slight improvement is the most we can get as of right now.

I don't like Romney, but I think regardless of my opinion of either candidate, I think that American politics is a lot more tame than Australian currently.

At the end of the day, whoever becomes president (even if it was not either of these two candidates) everyone would still be unhappy. There is NO ONE who would actually make the perfect president. As good as the person may be there will always be plenty of people criticising him/her saying the person is doing a bad job etc. Every single action the president makes will get criticism from people. Sadly you cannot please everyone and even the 'minority' of people will still be in large numbers.

Yeah Abe Lincoln was arguably one of, if not the best presidents of US... but if he were president NOW shit would be a lot different lol.

In Denmark Obama would be liberal. He've made a few changes. IMO he've made it a little better for the worst in society and not anything better for the more wealthy. I think he is better than Romney but none of them will please me enough to fully trust them.
We are very socialistic in Denmark. VERY. We pay 40-50% in taxes so that school, hospitals, college, university etc. are free for everyone. Socialism is the only way for a perfect world IMO but at the same time I am to egocentric to want everything to be common.

I agree that no matter who gets elected it will not change the bigger picture but imo it's more humanly to vote for obama. He helps the less fortunate and makes the 99% more happy than Romney. But no matter who gets elected the ecomony is fucked, you will still be the most hated country in the world and your war tactics will not change either.
