Sadly, Soulja Boy has had a handful of successful singles but from what i remember his albums never did much. Which is good for him because i'm sure he got a much higher percentage from singles/ringtones.

As far as him receiving a check anytime recently for over $1mill....i can't comprehend the reasoning. He hasn't had a big single in ages, no album that sold, he definitely doesn't get million dollar checks for performances and internet money isn't THAT good.

My guess is that his agent/manager/something collects all his income from stuff and just sends him a check every couple months.

But WTF do i know. I've made $20 on my bandcamp account and less than $200 from youtube haha.
