Thu 23 Feb 2012 - 1:57
If anybody watches Games twitterfeed lol you saw he was tweeting up a storm yesterday. Well the reason was he was ill, here is the full story.

(AllHipHop News) Compton, California rap star Game was forced to cancel a date on his Australian tour today (February 22), after coming down with a mystery illness.

Game was supposed to perform in Cairns, Australia tonight at the Velvet Underground, as part of a stop on his “Game Red Tour 2012.”

Fans were disappointed to learn that the rap star could not make the show, after he became sick in Melbourne and missed his flight.

“We werent able 2 make our afternoon connecting flight that would get us there in time Cairns,” Game tweeted earlier today. “I got sick in Melbourne & couldn’t make the flight cuz of a doctor’s visit.”

According to Game, all is not lost.

The rapper told his Australian fans that he would make up the date before the end of the “Red Tour” of Australia.

“Promoters couldn’t get me on anything after. They’re working hard to re-schedule the show while I’m still on my aussie tour…. Appreciate you for being loyal & understanding.”

Game’s next stop in the country takes place tomorrow (February 23) at Festival Hall in Melbourne.

The news of Game’s cancellation comes within 24 hours of news breaking that the rap star was responsible for a $5 million defamation of character lawsuit.

The Lawsuit being referred to is the one filed against Game by the Greensboro North Carolina officers filmed in the "Stop Snitchin', Stop Lyin'" DVD...Full Story below.

(AllHipHop News) It seems as if Game’s DVD “Stop Snitching/Stop Lying” is catching up to him, as a North Carolina Court of Appeals ruled in favor of five police officers, awarding each $1 million.

The officers claimed their appearance in Game’s DVD was defamation of character. The officers arrested Game just hours before his scheduled performance in Winston-Salem.

According to Fox News, Game’s entourage was confronted by mall security and later police, as the rapper was filming for the DVD in the Four Seasons Mall.
Game was eventually arrested for criminal trespassing, communicating threats, and disorderly conduct, following repeated requests to leave the mall.

In 2006 the officers filed the $5 million defamation suit, alleging they were libeled, slandered and that their images were misappropriated by Game and his Black Wall Street associates.

In addition to the defamation suit, the five officers who filed the previous case also filed for $10 million in punitive damages, but that suit was rejected by the same court of appeals.

“The trial court’s findings of fact were based upon competent evidence and supported its conclusions of law, which in turn supported its award of compensatory damages against Taylor,” the appeals court said in Tuesday’s ruling.

“However, the trial court’s finding regarding the aggravating factor which supported the award of punitive damages against Taylor failed to indicate that the aggravating factor was established by clear and convincing evidence.”

As of now, Hien Nguyen, Matthew Brown, Ryan Childrey, Romaine Watkins, and David Gregory are all being awarded $1 million dollars each for their unauthorized and misrepresented role in the DVD.
