Sup guys! I'm generally not a big fan of doing the whole "spam my shit anywhere and everywhere" method that seems to be the current trend for this contest, but just hoping people discover our entry amongst the thousands is looking pretty hopeless.

We actually live in central Pennsylvania, and considering such, I don't really think he's got much of an accent at all ... especially a distinguishable one (unless you're not from america, in which case ... I guess he's got an american accent??)

If you wanna rap fast...keep it to a maximum of 14 syllables and rap it fast to make it sound like 10 or 12 it's up to you. When you wanna switch it up switch to 12 syllables and rap it as 8.
You've got fucking 16-20 syllable bars there that sound stupid because your flow is dying and it's all forced.

Good advice man! I'll make sure to send it his way. Trust me, he'll be the first to tell you he's got a loooooot to learn, but lemme just say, this was the first "legit" song he's ever done. So, I mean, with that in mind, I think it's pretty exceptional for a beginner.

The best way I can explain the syllable thing is like this...I'll use my signature as an example:

Now obviously a bar is a measure of time...when rapping fast you don't actually rap fast otherwise the tempo of the beat would have to be increased. You increase the number of syllables in your bar but you execute them faster to shorten them so it stays on beat. Now I've highlighted which words were rapped together fast to give the ILLUSION of fast rapping but in fact all it was, is multi-syllables being rapped as one or two syllables.

... and I'm pretty sure there's no way to see the votes. Nor do I think there's any way to search the entries. I'm sure they made it that way to encourage sharing, which in turn = publicity for FV.
