Is Yelawolf too old?

The dudes 31 now. Is he too old?

I know 31 is not old at all and he's knowhere near done but imo he should have had a solid fanbase by the time he hit 30. I just think 30+ is too old to start a career in rap.

I didn't know he was 31... damn. Kinda makes that "pop the trunk" track lose some credability for me, because I thought he really was a younger dude that still lived with his pops.

He's still dope tho so w/e

If he was younger I bet he wouldn't be on Shady records because some other label would have picked him up as he'd have been a perfect sign. So I guess it's okay that he's 31 :)

I don't think age is really relevant tbh. As long as they can spit something dope and release amazing albums, I'm cool. Even if the dude was 50, I'd bump it.

Rappers dont retire, they either die or get a job on a show like law and order. So his age dont matter at all. Like Strangegenius said, tech is 40 and its still making good music.

i dont give a fuck how old he is, he is putting out dope music. look at eminem, he is almost 40 and you can say he is as big as he was 10 years ago. love the way you lie just became his best selling single of his career. so it is still possible for yela to have a good career

This is true. It seems to of surpassed Lose Yourself. Of course, that being said, it doesn't mean LTWYL is a better song imo.

there is a certain youthful arrogance/essence that you have when you're young..

u hit a certain age, you get hit with bills, babies, and real life career questions (and if you don't, the people your age around you do)
