I think what he's saying is like if you listen to eminem rip a beat, and then you listen to someone else on the same beat - it doesn't sound right. Eminem owns that song.
I don't think Gangus is trying to talk shit, he's just saying having heard the other version it's hard to listen to a different style on the same beat.

If I could listen to it I would, but like I said when I click the play button nothing happens.
You should set up a youtube account because you are gonna get alot more views and feedback there.

Yeah not talkin shit...just sayin Tyga ripped that shit up...So when I hear that beat I expect to hear someone tear it up...If your gonna use someone's beat make sure your tone is somewhat similar...because you know people are gonna expect that.

For example some kid posted the below video on this website BEFORE I heard the actual real version of the song. Now EVEN when I hear Kanye and Jay-Z's version of it I cant stop thinking about these two fucks in this video.
Its just hard rapping on another persons beat in general tho

No, you have to put your own style into all the shit you do, not to copy someones flow

Yeah tone....You went soft as fuck on a beat that another rapper went hard as fuck on. Makes no fuckin sense...How do you not understand what I'm saying? It sounds stupid when people try to do that.

It has nothing to do with the original song or copying a flow.
I heard Tyga first...therefore that is what I expect to hear when I hear that beat. If your gonna rap on it go hard (Doesn't mean you gotta bite hits style) .... You can either go HARD or SOFT on a fuckin song...Do you not get that?
I dont know how else to fucking explain this to you kid....My honest opinion is that your shit was wack...But that's just my opinion. If your gonna rap your gonna have to deal with criticism...this is how you get better.
As a matter of fact you should be thanking me right now...wtf...I'm hitting you with some fuckin knowledge right now.

See, this is exactly why I don't rap on mainstream beats. I don't want to be compared to the original song because Gangus is right - people expect something similar or BETTER than the original.
When you use new & original beats that haven't been heard before, it's a completely new experience for the listener and you are less likely to get haters or comparisons.

I can deal with criticism but what your're saying is nonsense. "It has nothing to do with the original song or copying a flow." yet you " expect to hear" something like Tyga "when [you] hear that beat". does that even make sense? I can understand if you think I went soft, but you basis on that can't be because I didn't sound like Tyga enough? like what the fuck that's just dumb shit right there. The original beat had Pusha T Cyhi Jay Z and kanye on it and they all had different styles and only an ignorant person would say something like "Kanye went hard so unless everyone went like kanye they suck" no, they all had their nice lines and flows don't make comparisons thats what makes music boring, Listen to some music some time bro.GangusKahn wrote:slim2010 wrote:I'm not going to copy someones flow on a song have you even HEARD THE ORIGINAL song?GangusKahn wrote:Yeah tone....You went soft as fuck on a beat that another rapper went hard as fuck on. You still dont get it...I'm speaking about first impressions. The Original isn't the original to me because I didn't hear it first.

That beat is soft as fuck though... Gangus, you're cool, but damn. What you're saying don't make sense. Just because he used a beat that Tyga killed, doesn't mean he has to go hard on it. This beat doesn't even sound like something people should go hard on. What the fuck dude. So by your logic, Tyga sucked on it because he had a harder tone than the original song actually did.
