Do NOT Post Illegal D/L Links

This is against the board rules. Please use the private messages function as that is what it is there for, anyone who posts links to torrents or illegal music downloads will be banned for a week and the post will get deleted. Any questions, please ask in this thread.

Seems fair, I'd hate to see the forum get shut down just for posting download links. The PM function isn't a bad idea either, I guess we'll just stick to that then.

and then in the thread all i post is "PM me"nothing else.

I have gotten further confirmation and sadly, we're unable to encourage illegal download links. When a certain album drops, people will just have to post links on here to YouTube and listen to it there.

Trust me, if we did go on and post illegal download links, we'd get shutdown within a month sadly. What other sites are doing when new albums leak, is illegal (obviously), there are people watching this forum just waiting for this sort of stuff to happen, slap me with a fine and possible get the forum shutdown in the end which I don't want to risk. I hope you all understand this. YouTube links to recently leaked songs from albums are fine though.

Sadly, no. That is still promoting illegal music.

If you guys could operate like that (sending each other PM links, without asking to do so on the forums), you'd get away with it. So all of you keep that in mind. What happens in the PMs, stays in the PMs. I'm not trying to encourage it but I can't do a thing - nor can anyone else if you guys operate like that.

But if it goes beyond that and people start posting "Hey, send me a link do that Lil Wayne mixtape through a PM", the post(s) will get deleted and you'll be warned and possibly get banned for a week or so.

So all I'm saying is; use common sense when it comes down to this sort of thing.

Yep, mixtapes that are free-to-download are fine.

Lol I know I forgot about this rule because when we switched servers everyone started doing it. Sorry for posting that album, didn't notice we went back to these rules!

It's fine, no actual warnings will be given out at this time for that sort of stuff as some people might be confused on the situation with posting album download links. Especially with the forum changes we've had of recently.

What about albums that aren't for sale anymore?
