DICE ban BF3 Cheaters

As the old adage goes, cheaters never prosper, and on Battlefield 3, they certainly haven't been allowed to prosper, being issued with a complete stat wipe and a ban. Anyone who's been boosting in the game, exploiting glitches and so on, have been singled out and dealt with accordingly, with DICE taking swift action to ban hundreds of offending players.

"This week we’ve banned hundreds of offending accounts and have stats-wiped accounts for exploiting (such as boosting)..." reads a tweet from the Battlefield Twitter feed. "Cheating is not tolerated," says another. You have been warned!

DICE is also currently working on a new patch for Battlefield 3 reducing the blinding glare from the tactical flashlight, which is apparently "just around the corner". There's also talk of introducing the Recon's flying EMP drones as a counter-measure for handling mortar spam, but DICE is currently awaiting feedback from players before implementing this.
